Musings: The Convenience Diet

If a someone said he only ate Twinkies, Moon Pies, Doritos and other gas station goodies for 10 weeks, and managed to lose 27 pounds, would you believe him?
How about if that someone is a nutrition professor for a university?

Certainly makes you wonder if weight loss is truly defined by the number of calories you take in (1800 calories per day in Mark’s case), rather than the type of calories you ingest.

    That just looks gross. I feel icky if I haven’t eaten a balanced diet and not had enough vegetables! I have been reading some interesting blogs about real food and healthy real fats and the connection with weight.
