American Food Holidays | March 11 – 24

Last updated on March 23, 2014 by Liza Hawkins

Over the next few weeks (who am I kidding – months), I’m going to be heading into a blog redesign.

I can tell by the analytics that it’s hard for you guys to find what it is you’ve come here for, or what you want to look for once you’ve landed.

Plus? I need to be in a place where I’m self-hosting, rather than be under Blogger’s thumb. I need to own all of this content.

This move has been something I’ve needed for a while now. But it’s going to take a lot of work, and since I’m horrible about letting others handle the design and formatting of my blog (as in, like, I never let anyone but me), I need to be schooled a bit in how to make it all happen.

I’ve been browsing themes and frameworks. I’ve been watching what you guys seem to like (and not).

There are a lot of cool and clever formats that will fit better (I think) with were I’d like this blog to go.

That’s all for now; still in brainstorming mode.

Here are last week and next week’s American Food Holidays!

  1. I’m also heading into the blog migration/redesign zone!

I’ve been talking about, planning, intending to migrate for over a year, but now it’s finally gonna happen. I am working with a designer to create the theme, but I’m doing everything else. It’s exciting & daunting. Hoping to have new Fortuitous Housewife launched in May.

May the WP forces with with!
